This lot features a US Air Force flight helmet in its original green nylon carrying bag marked " U.S. AIR FORCE (insignia)". The off white helmet has green & red decoration on the front with a Dymo tape that reads "L/COL. STORY". A small tag on each side reads " FSN 1660-440-5553 THE GENERAL TIRE". The remainder of the lot contains 3 WWII era collar disks. / 1 Sterling CIB badge. / 3 DI's. / 3 Patches. / 2 Lapel pins for work on the Manhattan Project. / 1 Navy "E" lapel pin for production. / 1 UA lapel pin for 55 years. / 1 Army Good Conduct medal without ribbon. / 1 midshipman's hat device. / 3 Small misc insignia. / 2 British photo packs of St. George's Chapel and The Houses of Parliament. CONDITION: all items show light wear except as noted. Patches have stains and holes, and the helmet and bag show moderate wear with one handle partially missing on the bag.(02-24498-7/BF). $400-600.
