Cal. 30 Carb. S# 3798397. Bbl. 18" Underwood dated 1-44 with flaming bomb. "N" marked blade front sight with protective ears. Stamped "IR" Co. adjustable aperture rear sight. Receiver has serial number added ahead of rear sight likely done in foreign service. Round bolt marked "AI" on left lug. Angled cut operating slide marked "PI". Inland marked trigger housing. "W" marked straight hammer. "CM" marked rotating safety. Unmarked mag release. "AMCO" marked third model band with bayonet lug. Parkerized finish. Low wood stock set with left side sling provisions & canvas sling. Left side of stock has faint US arsenal rebuild stamps & a strong Italian "FAT 76" rebuild stamp. Two-rivet handguard marked "IO". MAGS: 1-5 rd. marked "R-C" for Rockola. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: "TWEEDIE 1944" marked canvas GI muzzle cover & 1943 dated "S.F. CO" dual mag pouch. CONDITION: stock has arsenal rework appearance with chip behind recoil plate, scattered dings & handling marks. Metal shows a thinning arsenal parkerized finish with some light pitting on bbl., scattered edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good plus bright bore. (24-5803/MJC).
