Cal. 30 Carb. S# 687374. Bbl. 18". Inland-dated 9-43. Blade front sight marked "N" on base with protective ears. Milled adjustable rear sight marked "HI" on right side. Flat blued bolt marked "AI" on the left lug. "PI" marked second variation operating slide. Inland-marked trigger housing. "H" marked straight hammer. Rotating safety marked with a circled "SS". "WA"-marked, blued mag. release. "AI"-marked third-type band with bayonet lug. Recoil plate marked "IO". Balance of metal has parkerized finish. Low wood walnut stock set with left side sling provisions, green canvas sling, and "IO" marking in sling cut. Right side of stock has ordnance wheel cartouche. Underside of pistol grip has "P" firing proof and "RA-P" arsenal rebuild marking. Two-rivet handguard marked "IO". MAGS: two 15 rd. One mag marked "K-SG" for Saginaw. Other mag is parkerized and unmarked. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: GI canvas muzzle cover marked "TWEEDIE 1944" and "U.S." CONDITION: stock set has an arsenal refinish appearance with some scattered dings and handling marks. Metal retains 90% arsenal rework finishes, with some finished-over pitting on bbl., scattered edge wear, and light fading. Action functions properly when hand-cycled. Very good+ bore. (24-5810/MJC).
