Cal. 30 Carb. S# 6385532. Bbl. 18" Inland dated 11-44. Blade front sight marked "N" on the base with protective ears. Adjustable aperture stamped rear sight marked "IR CO". M1 Carbine with arsenal replacement M1A1 paratrooper folding stock. Blued round bolt marked "IO" on left lug. Balance of other parts have parkerized finish. Inland marked trigger housing."HI" marked hammer. Unmarked push button safety. "HI" marked mag release. Slant cut operating slide marked with a boxed "U". "AI" marked third type band with bayonet lug. M1A1 stock with leather cheekpiece. Inside of buttplate has proper USGI drawing number. Right side of pistol grip has partially faded Ordnance Wheel cartouche denoting it is a post war field replacement stock. Left side sling provisions with canvas GI sling. Four rivet handguard marked "HI". MAGS: 1-15 rd. marked "AI" for Inland. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal refinish appearance with some chipping at front, some dings & scattered handling wear. Metal retains 85% arsenal rework parkerized & blue finishes with scattered edge wear & some fading. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good + bright bore.
