1) US M1906 cavalry saber measuring 41 1/2" overall with a plain 34 5/8" blade marked "A. S. Co. (bomb) 1906" & "U.S J.H.C." . Steel hilt with a 2 branch guard and wire wrapped leather grip. Steel scabbard with Indian Wars era saber hanger. CONDITION: blade has a dull gray finish with a few nicks. Hilt is solid but the wire is replaced. Scabbard is for an imported M1860 style. Hanger is lightly used. 2) Circa 1890 militia NCO sword measuring 35 1/2" overall with an etched 28 3/4" blade marked "RIDABOCK & Co NEW YORK .N.Y.". Gilded brass cruciform hilt with a knights had pommel and reeded bone grip. Gilded brass mounted black leather scabbard. CONDITION: both sword and scabbard show very light wear. (02-26268/BF).
