This lot includes 1 WWII enlisted uniform coat with an 8th Army patch on the left shoulder and a ruptured duck over the right pocket. Four stars have erroneously been added to each shoulder tab. / 1 Ike jacket with a 9th Infantry patch on the left shoulder and two sets of infantry collar discs. Uniform is stained and shows water damage. / 1 Uniform coat for the United States National Aeronautical Reserve. This green uniform has gilded buttons showing wings above a horizontal propeller. Above the left pocket is a silver bullion winged shield with the letters "OA" in the center. Uniform shows minor moth damage. / 1 WWII era Ike jacket for a First Sergeant of the 3rd Army. / 1 Pair of WWII khaki pants. / 1 Army Air Force emergency subsistence vest, Type C-1, with a right inner pocket for a book, hat, gloves, and gaff assembly. The left inner pocket is for a cooking container, mosquito head net, bandages, goggles, tissue, and canteen. There are several outer pockets and pouches, with an Army Air Force insignia on the left shoulder. The photograph is a hand-tinted 13 1/2" x 10 1/2" framed portrait of an Army Private from the WWII period, with two Qualification Badges on the left pocket. CONDITION: all items generally show light wear, unless noted above. Photograph is sharp and crisp, but the frame shows handling wear. (02-23669/BF). $300-600.
