Cal. 30 Carb. S# 1679881. Bbl. 18". Rockola-marked and undated. Blade front sight marked "N" on the base with protective ears. Adjustable aperture, milled rear sight marked "HI" on right side. Round parkerized bolt marked "ROCK-OLA" on left lug. Early Rock-Ola operating slide. Trigger housing marked "ROCK-OLA" and hammer marked with a circled "B/R". Unmarked rotating safety. "WA"-marked mag. release. Rock-Ola-marked recoil plate. "J.M.O."-marked third-type band with bayonet lug. Parkerized finish. Low wood walnut stock set with left side sling provisions and canvas GI sling. Right side of the stock has a boxed "RMC" cartouche and ordnance wheel marking. Markings in the left sling cut are indiscernible. Bottom of pistol grip has orange paint rack number "37". Two-rivet handguard, marked "RMC" on underside. MAGS: one 15rd. marked "BW" for Winchester. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: green canvas muzzle cover, marked "TWEEDIE 1944" and "U.S.". CONDITION: stock set has an added oil finish with scattered dings and handling marks. Metal retains 90% arsenal rework-parkerized finish, with some light dings on bottom metal and scattered edge wear. Action functions properly when hand-cycled. Very good, bright bore. (24-5805/MJC).
