Cal. 30 Carb. S# 1866474. Bbl. 18" Underwood dated 9-43 with flaming bomb. Unmarked blade front sight with protective ears. Milled adjustable aperture rear sight marked "PI" on right side. Flat parkerized bolt marked "SG" on right lug. "SG" marked third variation operating slide. Trigger housing marked "SG" on right side. "W" marked mag release. "CM" marked rotating safety. "SG" marked type 4 straight hammer. Third type band marked "AI" with bayonet lug. Unmarked recoil plate. Parkerized finish. Low wood walnut stock set with left side sling provisions, canvas sling & "RSG" marking in sling cut. Sling cut has two markings that appear to resemble a sunburst. Left side of stock has faint boxed "AA" arsenal rebuild stamp. Right side of stock has faint boxed "SG" & ordnance wheel markings. Right rear of stock has matching number likely added in foreign service. Two rivet handguard marked "RSG" . MAGS: 1-15 rd. marked "G-Q" for Quality Hardware. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: canvas GI muzzle cover marked "E.A. BROWN MFG. CO. 1944" & "U.S.". CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework appearance with some dings, handling marks & light scratches. Metal retains 85% arsenal rework parkerized finish with some wear on band keeper from improper removal & scattered edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bright very good + bore.
