SEMI-AUTO MILITARY RIFLE WITH CMP CERTIFICATE. Cal. 7.62X51 (NATO). S# 1799377. Bbl. 24" marked on right side "2-S-A-7-43 / "7.62 NATO". Barrel has bushing installed in chamber to convert the caliber from 30-06 to 7.62 NATO. The chamber has shallow fine threads in an attempt by the arsenal to hold the bushing in place. The receiver retains its original markings and has the white plastic spacer installed in the magazine. T105E1 aperture rear sight. Blade front sight with protective ears. Operating rod is marked "SA/ NM". Bolt, trigger housing and hammer marked "SA". Stamped trigger guard. Walnut buttstock and front handguard. Hardwood rear handguard. Buttstock markings except encircled "P" proof are illegible due to arsenal rework finish. UNNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: CMP Certificate of Authenticity signed by Gary Anderson and dated 2004. CMP data sheet,manual, green web sling, 8rd clip and open bolt indicator. Matching cardboard shipping box. CONDITION: stock set has moderate wear,staining and handling marks over arsenal rework finish. Metal has most of its original Parkerized finish with light wear.
