RIFLE WITH TYPE "C" STOCK. Cal. 30-06. S# 1241157. Bbl. 24". The replacement barrel is marked "H.S. (flaming bomb) 3-44." Ladder rear sight with volley notch graduated to 2850 yards. Sight is mounted on Remington base without lightning cuts. Blade front sight. Bolt is from Smith Corona 1903-A3. Safety marked "R." All milled furniture, including smooth trap buttplate. Original type "C" pistol grip walnut stock set with original finish and crisp markings. Boxed "S.A. / G.A.W." and "crossed cannons" on the left side. Two encircled "P" proofs under grip. Model 1907 leather sling marked "LAWRENCE." UNNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: nickel-plated oiler in butt. CONDITION: stock set has moderate wear and handling marks but has a good appearance commensurate with careful service. Metal has 80% of its arsenal-reworked Parkerization with thinning and wear.
