AS NATIONAL MATCH BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. S#1386410. Rifle resembles National match style using Model 1903A3 parts. Bbl. 24" marked behind front sight "HS flaming bomb 11-44". Receiver has gas hole on right side and punch mark in right rail. Receiver and follower have been blued. Receiver fitted with matching numbered Lyman 48S sight equipped with target knobs. The standard Springfield ladder rear sight is w/o volley notch and mounted on a late base w/o lightning cuts. Front sight is an unmarked globe target type which accepts interchangeable inserts. Bolt assembly is Remington 1903-A3. All milled furniture except the fine checkered stamped buttplate. Walnut stock set. The buttstock is a 1903-A3 full pistol grip type marked "K" in cutoff recess. Green web sling. UNNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 4 sealed boxes of 20 "FA" 1959 Match ammo. 1-20 rd sealed box of 7.62 MM XM 118 Match by Frankford Arsenal 1964. 1-20 rd box 7.62 MM XM 118 Match by Frankford Arsenal 1965. CONDITION: stock set has good appearance with light wear and handling marks. Metal retains most of its blue and Parkerized finishes with light wear. Very good shiny 4 groove bore.
