Cal. 30 Carb. S# 6102231. Bbl. 18" Underwood dated 10-42 with flaming bomb. Blade front sight marked "NN" on base with protective ears. Stamped "IR CO." adjustable aperture rear sight. Receiver has foreign service added serial number ahead of rear sight. Flat bolt marked "S6" on right lug. "PI" marked fourth variation operating slide. Trigger housing markings are indiscernible. "UC" marked straight hammer. "HI" marked mag release. Rotating safety. "Q" marked third variant band with bayonet lug. Low wood walnut stock with left side sling provisions, green canvas sling & "TN" marking in sling cut. Four-rivet handguard with faint indiscernible markings. MAGS: none present. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: plastic handled US M4 bayonet made by Conetta with PWH M8A1 scabbard & frog. Also included are four assorted 50 rd. boxes of USGI 30 Carbine ammo. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal refinish appearance with small crack behind recoil plate & some scattered handling marks. Metal retains 40% arsenal parkerized finish with overall thinning to gray, some light dings on bottom metal & scattered edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bright bore.
