Cal. 30 Carb. S# 2671754. Bbl. 18" Underwood dated 1- 44 with flaming bomb & "P" marking. Right side of bbl. has Navy Arms import marking. Unmarked blade front sight with protective ears. Stamped "IR Co." adjustable aperture rear sight. Round parkerized bolt marked "U" on the left side. Third variation operating slide marked with a circled "U". Trigger housing has "U" marking inside mag well. Third type straight hammer marked "U" on left side. Blued "CM" marked rotating safety. Blued mag release. marked "8" on right side. Balance of metal has parkerized finish. Recoil plate appears unmarked. Third type band marked "MMO" with bayonet lug. Low wood walnut stock with left side sling provisions & canvas sling. Sling cut has faint marking that ends in "C". No other visible stock markings. Two-rivet handguard marked "MU". MAGS: 2-15 rd. One mag is parkerized & marked "UI" for Inland. The other mag is blued & marked "IU" for Underwood. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: canvas GI muzzle cover marked "LYON & COULSON 1944" & "US". Also present is a dual mag pouch marked "LAIRD SCHOBER 1943" & "US". CONDITION: stock appears lightly sanded with added finish, some scattered dings & handling marks. Metal retains 90% arsenal rework parkerized finish with some edge wear & light fading. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bright very good + bore. (24-5802/MJC). CURIO. $700-1000.
