The mark 1 rifle with its distinctive ejection port in the left rail retains its correct parts including The cut-off, spindle, and the double sear. Ladder rear sight w/ volley notch. Blade front sight with protective cover. Bolt has straight down handle. All milled furniture including smooth trap buttplate and smooth trigger. Walnut stock set. "S" type straight grip buttstock marked with very faint boxed "SA" and circle "P" proof. Handguard is a replacement. Well worn model 1907 sling dated "1918". UNNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: nickel plated oiler in butt. CONDITION: arsenal rework buttstock has extensive wear,staining and handling marks. Handguard is notably better finish. Metal has 50% 0f its worn arsenal rework Parkerization. Bore has well worn lands and oxidation in grooves. (25-2814/RW). CURIO. $400-600.
