RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. S# 2958753. Bbl. 24". Import marked on left side of barrel. Barrel is marked on right side w/ "Cal. .30-50-653-5448-crown". Barrel is likely Belgian or West German production. Throat gauges: 2.0. Muzzle gauges: 1.0. T105E1 aperture rear sight. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Bolt marked "SA". Operating rod is marked "SA" & has gunsmith added relief cut. "IHC" marked trigger housing & hammer. Stamped trigger guard. Hardwood buttstock w/ walnut handguards. Buttstock is marked w/ "P" under grip. Marked on right side w/ "AA / 55329". Buttstock also has worn fading rack marks & white paint which may have a far eastern origin. CONDITION: stock set has extensive wear, staining & handling marks throughout. Front handguard has diagonal repair on left side w/ small crack. Metal retains 50% of its worn original finish w/ numerous handling marks. Very good shiny bore w/ sharp lands. (25-2808/RW).
