Stamped adj. rear sight marked w/ enshielded "H". Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Bbl. band w/ bayonet lug marked upper case "AMCO". 6 O'clock slide marked "W". Rnd. bolt marked "W". Milled trigger housing marked "W". Rotary safety. Mag. catch has 30 rd. mag. extension. Flat cut hammer marked "W". Replacement walnut stock set marked "LW" in sling slot. Marked on left side in cheek area w/ "BA / 1". Prominent circle "P" proof at end of pistol grip. 2 Faint "P" proofs underneath pistol grip. 2 rivet walnut handguard. Green web sling. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 6 1/2" Blade bayonet marked "U.S. M4 CAMILLUS" on front of trigger guard. Leather washer handle. Green plastic scabbard marked "U.S. M8A1". Bayonet is in well worn condition including the leather handle plus retains little of original finish. Sharpen blade has notable nicks. Scabbard has wear & staining. Canvas muzzle cover dated "1944". 2 pocket canvas mag. pouch dated "1943". CONDITION: stock set has light wear, staining & handling marks over arsenal rework type finish. Metal retains 70% original parkerized finish w/ thinning, wear & handling marks. Good shiny bore w/ scattered sm. areas of frosting. (23-1969/RW). CURIO. $600-900.
