The 5th Special Forces Group is one of the most decorated groups in the United States Armed Forces. Founded April of 1960 they saw extensive action in Vietnam & played a key role in the beginning of Operation Enduring Freedom. This grouping includes 1 pair of Tiger Stripe pattern cotton utility trousers. Attached to them, is a 1.5" Airborne pin. There are a few Airborne patches including the blue & yellow United States Army Special Forces Class A Patch (sword w/ 3 lightning bolts) & a Luc Luong Dac Biet (LLDB) patch. Faded green, canvas Boonie Hat sporting a Pilots Pen Light & US Special Forces Insignia "DE OPPRESSO LIBER" Military Crest Pin. 2 knives, including Navy Pilot's Survival Knife & sheath, marked "CAMILLUS / N.Y. / 1-67" w/ 5" blade & 9.5" OAL. Also an unmarked fighting knife w/ 7.5" blade & 12.5" OAL. Wood handle w/ 4 finger grooves & brass guard. No sheath. Dummy rifle grenade w/ fins, measuring 8.25" OAL. (Inert). 1 large b&w photo measuring 14"x11" labeled "5th SF Camp Cai Cai, Republic of Vietnam, A-412, 1965 - 1966, 12 USSF, 550 CIDG". 2 smaller unidentified B&W photos.
