This lot consists of the following items: 1) WW2 US Officers Cap. Made by Cornet & has business card with Stanley V. Forsythe Lt. on inside. It is worthy of noting that a cursory search lists a 1st Lt. Stanley V. Forsythe of the 1st Infantry Division. Forsythe fought during the Aachen campaign & sadly died during assault on Crucifix Hill. 2) USGI Campaign Hat. Inside has Forsythe name in two pieces. 3) Garrison Cap. Forsythe's name also inside this hat. 4) USGI Officer's Cap. No name on inside. 5) WW2 US Officer's Dress Jacket. 1st LT rank & Infantry Officer's devices. No name or unit patches present but possibly Forsythe's. 6) WW2 USGI Khaki Tunic. 63rd Infantry Division patches present but no other insignia present. 7) WW2 USGI Belt. Khaki USGI 1943 dated belt with 1942 medical pouch & First Aid tin. CONDITION: items show varying degrees of age related & storage wear. (02-24108/MJC). NON-GUN. $400-600 for lot.
