NO.1: European infantry Hanger. Non-fullered blade is unmarked. Hardwood grip has brass back & knuckle bow. The markings on the left side of the knuckle bow appear "R.NO15 A29". CONDITION: sword is well-worn w/ oxidation & light pitting. The hardwood grip is heavily worn w/ cracks. Brass parts have mustard patina w/ wear & staining. NO.2: Portuguese Model 1885 for the Kropatschek rifle. 18 1/2" bright fullered blade. Blade is marked on right ricasso w/ tiny mark resembling back-to-back 3s. Crossguard w/ muzzle ring has serial number, disc finial & auxiliary front sight blade. Smooth walnut grip secured by 2 rivets. Steel scabbard. CONDITION: break blade has spots of discoloration & light oxidation. Balance of metal is turning gray w/ light oxidation. Grips have wear & handling marks. Scabbard has dents w/ oxidation & fine pitting throughout. NO.3: German WWI Model 1898/1905 bayonet. 13 3/4" fullered blade. Blade marked on left ricasso "WAFFENFABRIK / MAUSER AG / OBERNDORF aN". Blade marked on back w/ Imperial "crown / W / 16". Smooth European walnut grips. Hobbyist made brown leather sheath. CONDITION: blade has been sharpened & shows numerous grinding marks w/ wear, oxidation & fine pitting. Balance of metal turning gray & patina. Sheath has damaged tip. NO.4: German WWI Model 1898/1905 bayonet. 14 1/2" fullered blade. Blade is marked on left ricasso w/ "tiny human figure / CORTS SO / REMSCHEID". Back of blade is marked w/ Imperial "crown / W / 15". Walnut grips w/ grooves. Walnut grips w/ slanting grooves. Steel scabbard marked "C.W. 3456.". CONDITION: bright blade has light oxidation & fine pitting turning overall gray. Balance of metal turning gray & patina. Grips have extensive wear, staining and handling marks. Scabbard has traces of blue turning patina w/ notable oxidation. NO.5: Spanish Model 1893 Mauser bayonet. 9 3/4" fullered blade. Blade is marked on left ricasso "OE / WG". Crossguard w/ muzzle ring has serial number. Smooth walnut grips held by 2 rivets. Pommel is marked "ASFA" w/ illegible logo. Steel scabbard. CONDITION: blade is turning gray w/ wear & staining. Balance of metal turning gray w/ numerous dents & scratches. Grips have large missing chip on right side w/ wear & staining. Steel scabbard has large dents, wear & handling marks. NO.6: Czech Post-WWI VZ-22 Mauser bayonet. 11 3/4" fullered blade w/ reverse cutting edge. Blade is marked on left ricasso "CSZ". Right ricasso marked "E / encircled lion / 24". Smooth walnut grips secured by two screws. Blued steel scabbard marked "CSZ" & "E / encircled lion / 24". CONDITION: blade has been sharpened leaving most of the gray phosphate finish intact. Balance of metal turned gray & patina. Grip has light wear & handling marks. Scabbard retains 50% blue w/ oxidation & fine pitting throughout. NO.7: Italian WWII Model 1891 Carcano bayonet. 11 3/4" blued fullered blade. Crossguard w/ ball finial marked on right side "C. GNUTTI-1941". Smooth hardwood grips. Scabbard is not present. CONDITION: bayonet retains 60% original blue finish w/ moderate wear & areas of oxidation & light pitting throughout. NO.8: Swedish Model 1896 bayonet. 8 1/4" fullered blade. Blade is marked on the left ricasso "EJ crown & anchor / AB / 737". Right ricasso has "crown" acceptance mark. Crossguard is marked "16 / 1.27". Additional marking is "NO.247". Knurled blued steel grip. Blued steel scabbard marked "7 / I-13 / NO.147". CONDITION: blade has been sharpened & has scattered small spots of staining on its bright finish. Grip has light wear & scattered handling marks. Scabbard has arsenal rework finish w/ light wear & handling marks. (02-23297-2/RW). NON-GUNS. $400-600.
