SECOND MODEL RICHARDS CONVERSION COLT ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 44 RF. S# 195793. Bbl. 8" w/ New York address. Cartridge ejector mechanism that fits in old rammer hole w/ lg. checkered thumb piece. Newly made cyl. w/ naval battle scene has six stops. Conversion ring is cut through at top & newly made hammer has integral firing pin. S# on second type loading gate w/ external spring matches frame numbers. Frame has patent dates stamped over "COLTS" "PATENT." Trigger guard & grip frame stamped 44 cal. All #'s match. One piece walnut grips are unmarked. CONDITION: fine, cyl. retaining over 90% of its original nickel w/ some flaking. Bbl. & frame retain approx. 70% nickel, worn through on high edges & left side of frame. Backstrap considerably browned. Grips retain about 80% varnish.
