ORIGINAL CARVED WOOD STEM. Pictured on page 26 of John Baldwin's 2007 book, "RED PIPES", 19.5" overall with attached stem which is carved in stages with raised rings and long swirled sections, two of the rings are studded with well patinaed brass tacks. Old brown ink skinny 2" paper label pasted reads: "Crow, Mont. Over 100 years old". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: custom wrought iron stand presents pipe beautifully. CONDITION: very good overall, pipe has been smoked a lot based on tarry concretion in bowl, stem has hand worn patina with traces of red paint in protected areas, old pasted ink label is fine.
