SEMI AUTO SHOTGUN. Cal. 12GA. 2 3/4". S# 497086. Bbl. 20" The US/Ordnance bomb is marked "ANN" (March 1944)-dated, with Mod choked (no choke marking) bbl with brass bead front sight. US/Ordnance bomb and "Military Finish"-marked receiver. FJA and crossed cannon cartouche is present on the left side of the stock. Remington Bakelite serrated buttplate. CONDITION: overall very fine, with 97% original factory finish, showing a few minor handling marks primarily on the lower tang. Matching serial number on the bbl. Very good stock with some minor handling marks and a fine hairline crack on the forearm. Mirror bore. A truly fine example. PROVENANCE: from the collection of Mark Ivey Godfrey. (24-5264/ZAL).
