Stamped adjustable aperture rear sight marked on right side w/ "H" in shield. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Wide bbl. band is unmarked. 6 o'clock slide marked "W". Round "W" marked bolt. Milled "W" trigger housing. Push button safety marked "EW". Mag. catch & straight hammer are marked "W". Walnut low-wood oval-cut buttstock. Buttstock is correctly marked on right side w/ "crossed cannons" & marked "W" in sling slot. Recoil plate is also marked "W". 4 rivet handguard marked "W". WWII "C" tipped carbine sling w/ "IS" marked oiler. MAGS: 1 detachable 15 rd. marked "BW". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: canvas muzzle cover dated "1944" & marked "E.A. BROWN MFG CO". CONDITION: wood & metal retain a very large degree of their original finishes showing only light scattered handling marks & small scratches. Bbl. has notable 1 1/2" scratch at top & bottom from bbl. band. Very good bright shiny bore. (25-2417/RW). CURIO. $2,500-3,500.
