MEMORABILIA AND EPHEMERA. This lot, primarily from the earlier part of the 20th century, contains a wide variety of items relating to the Winchester Repeating Arms Company. While there are many catalogs, manuals, parts lists, etc., there are also such interesting items include air pistols, hand traps, paperweights, advertising prints and more. Memorabilia includes unsigned Winchester horse & rider bronze paperweight, Winchester Model 353 Precision Air Pistol(177 caliber, NSN, 7" barrel, target sights, checkered plastic stock, marked "made in Germany") as new in original red-yellow box(box has notable staining w/ tears at corners & edges) w/ owner's manual, Winchester Model 353 Precision Air Pistol(22 caliber, NSN, 7" barrel, target sights, checkered plastic stock, marked "made in Germany") as new in original red-yellow box(box has notable staining w/ tears at corners & edges) w/ owner's manual, two Western white flyer hand traps(traps w/ wooden handles & original boxes which have notable wear & staining, one box being partially cut away). Eight power blued steel 3/4" tube eternal adjustment rifle scope. The unmarked scope w/ its fine crosshair was likely manufactured for use w/ 22 caliber rifles. Scope retains its original cardboard shipping box. Also included is a reprinted description of a Winchester scope which has a similar appearance. Optics are cloudy but serviceable. Large framed prints include a framed Winchester advertising poster stating "AUTHORIZED DEALER / WINCHESTER / 1936 / CUTLERY & FIREARMS". Re-issue of a Winchester cartridge poster showing Winchester cartridges available in 1890. Large US Repeating Arms Company hunting calendar w/ add-on numbers & letters. Three original Winchester brown cardboard shipping boxes w/ red lettering, boxes are not assembled or marked for specific guns. Catalogs include a Winchester 1932 Guns & Ammunition catalog. Original Winchester Model 1909 Firearms catalog. 1955 Winchester catalog which promotes a time payment plan. Numerous price lists w/ a wide variety of dates from the 30s, 40s & 60s including a component parts, sights & accessories price list dated 1960. Large product information manual spiral bound dated 1977. Newton Arms Company 15th edition catalog. Instruction pamphlets include the M21, M12, M50 & M42 shotguns. Rifle pamphlets include M70, M54, , M52, M71, M64, M61 & M07-10. There are two pamphlets from Dot and Ernie Lind, notable professional shooters who worked for Winchester. Detailed booklet from the product service department detailing the takedown & assembly operations of the M77 automatic 22 rifle. Included is an army ordnance History of Rifles, Revolvers & Pistols, 37 pages and dated 1920 & a description in rules for the management of the M1917 rifle. A four page supplement dated 1918. Paperweights include two bronze horse & rider medallions approx. 3 1/4" in diameter & a Winchester ashtray. CONDITION: except as noted, ranges from fair to very good. Printed items may have edge wear, staining & small tears, but remain legible. Posters may have light wear, but remain in an attractive condition. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman.
