PISTOL WITH CASE & ACCESSORIES. Cal. 22 LR. S# 57131T6. Bbl. 6 3/4". Medalist semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Belgium and imported/retailed by Browning Arms Company in 1966. Left side of the bbl. is marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY", with "MADE IN BELGIUM 22 L.R." on the right. Underside of bbl. is marked "BROWNING'S PATENT", followed by Belgian proofs. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. 1-piece checkered wood wrap around thumbrest grip, with smooth wood schnabel tip "forend". V/R with swept back blade front sight and adj. square notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 10-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black leatherette case featuring a red velvet lining, and containing weights, a disassembly tool, as well as an original manual. CONDITION: very good, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting a few spots of light edge wear on the sides of the muzzle, as well as a few light superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grip shows some scattered marks from handling and storage, as well as some cracking to the varnish (primarily on the left side), but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. Case shows some wear and a few small tears to the black leatherette exterior, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-3842/MLW). CURIO. $1,200-1,800.
