1903A3 BOLT-ACTION MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. S# 4176829. Bbl. 24". Barrel marked behind front sight "RA / flaming bomb / 12-43". Adjustable aperture rear sight graduated to 800 yards. Blade front sight w/ protective hood. All major parts markings are "R". All stamped furniture including the large bow trigger guard. Matching walnut stock set. Straight grip stock w/ two recoil bolts. Crisp markings include "RA / boxed FJA / crossed cannons". Buttstock has "OG" in cheek area, indicating a test & check at the Ogden Arsenal. Nice quality tan leather military type sling. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: plastic oiler in butt. CONDITION: entire rifle has an unissued appearance, retaining a very high degree of original finishes. Shows very light high point wear & tiny handling marks. Near excellent bright, shiny, two-groove bore. (25-4569/RW). CURIO. $700-900.
