SEMI AUTO SNIPER RIFLE. Cal. 7.62 NATO. Rifle S# 05508/Suppressor S# S078624. Bbl. 20" with flash hider. Actual military issued examples of the M110 are very rarely offered on the public market & this rifle represents a great chance the advanced military collector to acquire an original as issued M110 with US government roll markings. As far as this cataloger is aware this is the first time an Air Force issue M110 has been offered for sale at public auction. Rifle is sighted with a FDE finish Leupold MK4 3.5-10x power scope on a Knight's Armament mount. Scope has mil-dot crosshair reticle with very good optics. Genuine US Air Force issue M110 semi auto sniper rifle, made by Knight's Armament in Titusville, FL. The AR-10 based M110 has been used by the US military since 2008, as both a sniper & marksman rifle. This weapons system has seen wide spread use in various Middle Eastern conflicts. Charging handle has extension & lower has ambi controls. Balance of metal has FDE finish. A2 pistol grip & adjustable butt stock. KAC URX II quadrail handguard with three rail covers & Harris SBRM bipod. MAGS: 4-10 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: FDE KAC M110 suppressor with cloth cover, Vortex hardcase, M110 military manual, green canvas suppressor pouch, matching numbered rifle Hardig case with name "Callaway", KAC cleaning kit, sling, Otis cleaning kit, one tan dual mag pouch & four tan single mag pouches. A document is included stating this gun was shipped from Picatinny arsenal to the Anniston Army depot in 2014, likely for use by Army snipers. The document further states that it was later shipped from Anniston to the 355th Logistics Readiness Squadron in 2021 at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. It is highly likely this rifle was issued to either Air Force Pararescue, as the 48th Rescue Squadron are stationed at Davis-Monthan or the 355th Security Forces Squadron sniper teams. It is worth noting that in 2021 the 355th hosted the first-ever Advanced Designated Marksman (ADM) course to train their initial sniper teams & members of the 55th Rescue Squadron for base security operations. Also included are a CMP Certificate of Authenticity verifying this rifle is indeed a US military issued M110 & a 2014 dated KAC factory test target. CONDITION: furniture shows scattered scuffing, handling marks & dirt staining as to be expected of a military issued arm. Bbl. shows overall flaking & is mostly a gray color with strong traces of FDE finish. Balance of metal retains 93% factory FDE finish with some light flaking & handling wear. Action has crisp mechanics when hand cycled. Bright very good plus bore with strong rifling. (25-4545 & 03-1905MJC). RIFLE MODERN. SUPPESSOR NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT REQUIRING BATF TRANSFER BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION. FULLY TRANSFERABLE. MODERN CLASS III. $30,000-50,000.
