1335 VERY RARE SLOVAK REPUBLIC VZ24 BOLT ACTION RIFLE.

Cal. 8x57 (8mm Mauser). S# NSN. Bbl. 23 1/4". Blade front sight. Tangent rear sight graduated to 2000m. Right side of receiver has Slovak Republic acceptance stamp. Receiver top is blank. Left side rail of receiver is marked "ZBROJOVKA BRNO,A.S.VZ24.". Bolt is numbered "YD20251" & has a standard Brno acceptance stamp on top of ball. Other visible parts are unnumbered. These rare VZ24 rifles were assembled by the WW2 German client state of the Slovak Republic. Surviving small arms from the Slovak republic are extremely rare & they are some of the hardest to find WW2 small arms today. Blued finish. Walnut stock set w/ both left side & bottom mounted sling swivels. Proper cleaning rod present. CONDITION: stock set shows a couple gouges, a crack on handguard top running between both bands, some black staining, scattered dings & handling wear. Metal retains 70% original blue w/ some light pitting spots on receiver, a couple scratches, scattered spotty oxidation & fading. Bright near excellent bore.
