Action features double underlug locking, bushed firing pins, cocking indicators, selective ejectors & double triggers, front trigger is articulated. Action has full coverage of fine English style rose & scroll hand engraving. Splintered forearm & steel capped pistol grip cheekpiece stock of fancy European walnut. Point pattern hand checkering. Swivel bases, front base is bbl. mounted. LOP: 14 5/8" over a solid red London style pad & 1/4" spacer. DAC: 2 1/8". DAH: 3". Stock has approx. 1/4" cast off. WEIGHT: 9 lbs, 8.4 oz. Consignor states that he believes this was ordered for the King of Spain, however we have no documentation to support this. CONDITION: bbl. retains 80% of reblackened finish. Action finish has faded to a pleasing silvery gray. Wood has dark lightly worn finish & checkering showing scattered small marks. Stock has hairline cracks behind both locks.
