SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 333635k. Bbl. 3 1/4". Model PPK semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther for German police use in 1941. The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by markings stipulating Walther's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Left side of the frame is marked with a German police Eagle/C proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece mottled brown Walther banner checkered synthetic grip. Slide features a grooved matte rib, with a fixed blade front sight and fixed U-notch rear sight. Frame features a longer tang, as well as a distinctive step at either side of the trigger guard pin. Slide matches the frame, via the last 3-digits of the S# "635", which are lightly inscribed on the interior, parallel to the ejection port. MAGS: 1 7-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning overall that show through to gray patina, with some scattered spots of light to mild surface oxidation and pitting. Mirror bore, exhibiting a few spots of light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grip shows some mild age related warping, as well as some light smoothing and superficial marks from handling and storage, with a crack present on the rear that stems from the frame spur area.
