Cal. 22 LR. S# 5327. Bbl. 7 1/2". Model 1925 Olympia semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther. Left side of the slide is marked "Walthers Patent" and with the Walther banner logo, with "CAL. 22 long rifle" and Walther's address marked on the right. Right side of the breech is marked with the S#, as well as with a Crown/N commercial nitro proof, which is repeated on the right side of the bbl. and slide. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 1-piece checkered wood wrap around grip, and features a cathedral shaped knurled panel on the front grip strap. Adj. replacement brass blade front sight, with adj. U-notch rear sight. Frame is mounted with a finely crafted contemporary cylindrical counterweight, which is numbered to match on the rear face. Slide matches the frame via "327". MAGS: 1 non-matching (S# 163) 10-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts to the majority of their blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, some scattered spots of light surface oxidation and pitting, as well as a few spots of touch up blue. Right side of the bbl. exhibits a few patches of mild surface oxidation. Near mirror bore, exhibiting some spots of light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grip show wear and flaking, as well as scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (25-3543/MLW).
