Cal. 22 LR. S# 5154. Bbl. 6". Model 1936 Olympia semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther. Left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by Walther's mfg. information, "Olympia-Pistole", and an unidentified "F6/ 6" stamp, with "CAL.22 Long rifle" marked on the right. Underside of frame is hand etched with what appears to be a Simpson LTD. import mark alongside the trigger channel. Metal components exhibit a reapplied blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece aftermarket target style grips, featuring a thumbrest and textured paneling on the left panel. Bbl. is fitted with a fixed blade front sight. Slide features a grooved flat rib, with an adj. square notch rear sight. Slide S# has been obscured at one time. MAGS: 1 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their reapplied blue finish, showing some light to mild edge wear, some areas of wear and thinning, as well as scattered superficial marks and spots of light pitting beneath the finish overall. Very bright bore, showing some spots of light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grip show scattered superficial marks from handling and storage, with losses to the textured paneling. (25-3571/MLW). CURIO. $800-1,200.
