Cal. 22 LR. S# 6978. Bbl. 7 7/16". Model 1936 Olympia semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther. Left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by Walther's mfg. information, and "Olympia-Pistole", with "CAL. 22 Long rifle" marked on the right. Right side of the slide, breech, and bbl. are marked with a Crown/N commercial nitro proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips, with the left panel featuring a thumbrest. High profile ramped blade front sight, with the slide featuring a flat grooved rib and a Micro adj. square notch rear sight. Underside of frame is drilled for a counterweight attachment. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide, grips (interior), and wood mag. extension (left). Extractor is absent. MAGS: 1 8-rd. with aforementioned wood grip extension. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting light to mild edge wear and some spots of light surface oxidation, with some patches of finish loss present on the bbl. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some superficial handling marks, but otherwise present nicely. (25-4252/MLW). CURIO. $600-900.
