RED GRIPS & UNMARKED HOLSTER. Cal. 32 ACP. S# 260390P. Bbl. 3 7/8". Model PP semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther in 1942. Left side of slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by markings stipulating Walther's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Left side of slide and frame both exhibit a Walther Eagle/WaA359 acceptance proof. Right side of slide, chamber, and bbl. are marked with Eagle/N commercial nitro proofs. Metal components exhibit a reapplied matte blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece red Walther banner checkered pressed resin grips. Mag. and brown plastic mag. extension are of post-war mfg. MAGS: 2 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: brown leather soft case containing an unmarked period black leather holster containing 1 spare mag. Closure flap is embellished with a brass token marked "-1943-/ (PARTY SYMBOL)/ ADOLPH HITLER, and is handwritten "DOLL" on the interior. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their reapplied matte blue finish, exhibiting some light edge wear, some light superficial handling marks, as well as areas of light to mild pitting beneath the finish overall. Bright bore, exhibiting some scattered spots of pitting and strong rifling throughout. Grips exhibit some scattered nicks to the diamonds, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. Holster exhibits some wear, age related cracking and a few spots of with losses to the stitching, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-1006/MLW). CURIO. $700-1,000.
