FACTORY CASE. Cal. 9x18mm. S# 13721. Bbl. 3 5/8". Model PP Super semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9x18mm Ultra mfg. in West Germany by Walther in 1975. The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by Walther's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations above "Made in W. Germany". Right side of the frame (on chamber) is marked with the 2-digit year of mfg. "75", followed by an Ulm Proof House antler, and a German Eagle/N commercial nitro proof (also marked on the right side of the slide, with an electro-penciled Eagle/N marked on the bbl). Right side of the frame, near the trigger guard pin, is marked with an encircled "R-P", indicating issue to the Rhineland-Palatinate police. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black synthetic grips. Slide features a matte grooved rib, with a fixed blade front sight, dovetailed adj. square notch rear sight (both rear faces of sights painted white), as well as a safety decocker and external extractor. Frame features a standard PP/PPK pattern disassembly, as well as a slide catch lever. MAGS: 1 7-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black plastic factory hard case (end label is unnumbered), containing a black plastic cleaning rod. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some areas and mild wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, some superficial handling marks, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips show scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable.
