Cal. 27mm. S# 8117h. Bbl. 6 1/8" w/ 5 groove rifling. Mfg. 1941 w/ alloy construction for frame & bbl. Eagle over inverted heart shape plus eagle “359” proofs throughout. Checkered plastic grips painted w/ cream color likely to make pistol more visible for its intended emergency signaling. Left side of rear octagon shaped portion of bbl. marked w/ “Z”. Spur hammer, trigger guard release, lanyard loop at butt plus hole drilled through frame above grip for alternate lanyard. Leather lanyard w/ gray metal snap attached to pistol loop. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: very good black flap holster w/ staple & strap retention. Light color leather lined & marked “fuq1941” plus eagle party symbol over “WaA” (no readable number). Front of holster designed to retain its cleaning rod that has leather attached retaining strap & w/ “J41” on handle along w/ eagle “WaA” (unreadable number). CONDITION: good overall appearance w/ typical handling wear & near excellent bore. PROVENANCE: from the estate collections of Charles P. Obremski. (02-16628/NW). CURIO. $300-500.
