1) CARTIDGE BOX. 8x3x2 1/2" Nicely tooled leather covered wood block for 24 .69 cartridges w/ sm. implement pouch, 2 belt loops. CONDITION: good overall, better surface than most, 3" & 1" tear in front flap, chipped wood block, both belt loops intact though one almost detached on bottom edge, missing tab & finial.
2) BAYONET. Pattern 1795 angular bayonet, sm. “10” engraved on socket, no other markings, forging flaws typical of early American, 17 1/2" overall, 14 1/2" triangular fluted blade, internal socket diameter about .85". CONDITION: good- very good, mostly smooth iron patina w/ staining, pitting & rust. (02-15497/JS). $800-1,200.
