Cal. 10mm. S# NSN. Bbl. 4" hexagon with brass bead sight. Mfg. 1850's to 1860's in Birmingham as percussion double action only (self cocking) with aspects designed by John Bentley, hence Webley - Bentley designation. Economical revolver of lesser quality than Adams or Tranter revolvers of the period. Two piece grip, and auto safety. Vintage conversion to centerfire with various sizes and names given to the caliber. Added loading gate and ejector assembly. Each chamber with proof mark; no other markings or serial number. Made without cylinder stop relying instead on the final full pull of the trigger to index the cylinder. Checkered walnut grips and fame integral metal grip cap; distinctive British spur at top of backstrap. Bore has 5 sided polygon shape. CONDITION: good brown patina appearance. Missing or broken trigger return spring. Firing pin missing from face of hammer. Long slender chip (along backstrap) on left grip. Good bore with distinct rifling and some light pitting.
