Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Standard dovetailed blade front sight and fixed V-notch rear sight. Left side of the bbl. extension is fitted with a Schiwy safety, with the left side of the frame featuring a Walther mag. safety, which has been welded and repaired where previously cut. Nearly all serialized parts are matching (some parts appearing to have been police arsenal numbered) and include the frame, takedown lever, sideplate, trigger, safety lever & bar, hold-open latch, bbl., bbl. extension, trigger bar, breechblock, extractor, as well as the toggles. Interior of left grip panel is mismatched via "47" above an imperial proof, with the right grip panel and firing pin being unnumbered. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original blue finish, exhibiting scattered spots and patches of light to mild wear and thinning fading to gray and brown patinas, scattered spots of light surface oxidation and pitting, as well as some scattered superficial handling marks and scratches overall. Grips show mild smoothing, as well as a few minor superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sound. (25-6072/MLW). CURIO. $800-1,400.
