WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 409366. Bbl. 3 13/16". Model PP semi-automatic pistol mfg. in West Germany by Walther in 1971 and imported by Century Arms International. Left side of the slide exhibits standard factory markings consisting of the Walther banner logo, Walther's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Left side of the frame is marked with a Century Arms' import mark. Right side of the frame (on chamber) is marked with a "71" date code, Ulm proof house antler, and Eagle/N commercial nitro proof, with the left side of the slide exhibiting an Eagle/N, "II" (88) date code, and Ulm proof house antler. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the chamber area of the frame, which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Walther banner logo checkered black synthetic grips. Slide features a solid grooved rib, with an integral white dot blade front sight and dovetailed square notch rear sight (rear faces of both sights are painted yellow). Slide matches the frame via the full S#, which is etched on the interior. MAGS: x2 8-rd. mags. with black synthetic grip extensions etched with the last 3-digits of the S# "366" on the left side. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: brown leather East German PM (Makarov) holster ink stamped "TGL-108-54010/ I./MC3" followed by a triangle (interior text illegible) above "1408 / 1678". CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light wear and thinning on edges and rear grip strap. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics, to include the safety / decocking lever. Grips show general smoothing and some superficial handling marks, but otherwise remain sound. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting some superficial marks from handling and storage, as well as some light crazing along edges. (26-1229/MLW). CURIO. $700-1,000.
