SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH MATCHING FACTORY BOX & PAPER TEST TARGET. Cal. 22 LR. S# 107174LR. Bbl. 3 1/4". Model PPK semi-automatic pistol mfg. in West Germany by Walther in 1965. Left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by markings stipulating Walther's mfg. information as well as the model and cal. designations. Left side of the frame is marked "Made in West-Germany", with the S# on the right. Right side of the chamber is marked with an Eagle/N commercial nitro proof, followed by the 2-digit year of mfg. "65" and an Ulm Proof House antler stamp. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Walther banner checkered mottled brown plastic grips, with the grip exhibiting a matching colored plastic extension on the base. MAGS: 2 10-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory box containing factory paperwork, a matching factory paper test target, 1 spare mag., as well as a brass cleaning rod. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory finish, exhibiting a few light superficial handling marks, as well as a couple spots of light edge wear on the front of the slide. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Grips exhibit a few nicks to the diamonds, but otherwise are good overall. Box shows some mild exterior wear from handling and storage but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-998/MLW). CURIO. $600-900.
