PISTOL. Cal. 22 LR. S# 504850LR. Bbl. 3 1/4". Model PPK-L semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther in West Germany in 1968. The left side of the slide exhibits the Walther banner logo, followed by Walther's mfg. information, as well as the model & cal. designations, with "Made in West-Germany" marked on the left side of the dural aluminum frame. Chamber is marked with the date code "68" (1968), followed by an Ulm Proof House antler stamp, and an Eagle/N commercial nitro proof (which is also present on the left side of the slide and right side of the frame). Blued slide and bbl., with black anodized frame. Frame is mounted with 2 piece Walther banner checkered mottled brown grips. Mag. with matching colored grip extension. MAGS: 1-8rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: later production black plastic factory case with later manual. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory finishes, exhibiting mild edge wear, with some scattered superficial marks overall from handling and storage. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips exhibit some scattered marks from handling and storage, with some nicks to the diamonds overall, and a small impression on the right panel. Case remains sturdy and serviceable.
