Case colored boxlock action with blued trigger guard & floor plate. Action has generous coverage of fine English scroll engraving with rose highlights. Double triggers. Splinter forearm and rnd. knob pistol grip stock of fine English walnut. Features include hand checkering with additional checkering panels on the stock ears forward of tear drop points. Toeline of stock has silver finished oval escutcheon engraved with initials "G.I.M./ 30-788". LOP: 14 3/16" to a checkered butt. DAC: 1 9/16". DAH: 2". Stock has a slight cast off. Bore Diameter: R: .729, L: .726. Choke Constriction: R: .015, L: .022. Minimum Wall Thickness: R: .026, L: .026. Weight: 5lbs. 15oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: leather covered case with burgundy velour fitted interior. Case contains nickel finished oil bottle, snap caps, 2-piece hardwood cleaning rod, brass patch holder. Interior of case lid has William Ford, St. Mary's, Birmingham makers label. Lid of case is marked with initials "J.G.W.". Lower right corner of case lid is marked "Churchwood/ Fittleworth/ Susex.". Case shows moderate interior and exterior wear. CONDTION: bbls. retain 90% lightly worn original blue. Action shows 30% light and fading case colors on frame with trigger guard and floorplate blue showing some carry wear. Stock has good finish and checkering showing small marks.
