Cal. 45. NSN. Bbl. 40" oct. Sterling silver blade front sight. V-notch rear sight. 1975 made Kentucky style rifle assembled by master gunsmith William Kennedy. Rifle is made in the style of Lancaster County in the early golden age. Lock marked "HFS". Bbl. has "W KENNEDY" signature. Bbl. has browned finish. Lock assembly has bright finish. Curly maple full length stock with brass furniture. Hardwood ramrod secured by brass pipe & one thimble. Daisy head patchbox & star inlay on cheekpiece. Stock also features carvings. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: paperwork detailing Kennedy's work & information on this rifle. CONDITION: stock shows a light small chip on left front of forend & some minor handling marks. Brass parts remain partially bright with areas turning dull yellow, some handling wear & scattered tarnishing. Lock assembly remains partially bright with hammer turning a dull gray & some scattered oxidation specks. Bbl. is turning a dull gray color with some edge wear, light oxidation specks & light handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good plus bore with strong rifling.
