Cal. 44 WCF. S# 13729. Bbl. 26", 2" longer than standard. Original sporting sights. Action features mortised dust cover w/ oval thumb print, bushed firing pin & early style lever latch. Full length mag. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. 1876. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to brown. Sanded & refinished wood shows numerous dents & marks. Stock is cracked through the wrist area w/ wood plug style repair. Good mechanics. Bore is dark w/ some very light pitting retaining strong rifling.
