Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent steel trap door buttplate. Mfg. 1889. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Cody Firearms Museum Record's Check stating the following: Serial Number 299905 / Type: Rifle / Caliber: 44 / Barrel Type: Round / Barrel Length: 26 inches / Trigger: Plain / Received in warehouse on July 24, 1889 / Shipped from warehouse on July 25, 1889. CONDITION: Metal shows general surface rust. Forearm shows heavy wear & dents w/ full length crack at bottom. Broken stock is secured by lace fastened rawhide covering. Action has rough function.
