First Model action features mortised 1/2" finely checkered impressed oval thumbprint dust cover and single set trigger. Full length mag. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock with trapdoor crescent steel buttplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Winchester factory letter dated "July 18, 1967" from T.E. Hall stating: "The Winchester Model 1873 serial number records list number 10629 as a rifle, round barrel and set trigger. It was shipped from the factory on September 2, 1876, no other information or description is listed.". CONDITION: over 60% lightly faded blue showing scratches and marks. Stock and forearm have added finish over light wear and scattered scratches, marks, and dents. Sound action and trigger. Lightly pitted bore retains intact rifling.
