Cal. 32 WCF (32-30). S# 300339B. Bbl. 24" oct. w/ rocky mountain style German silver front sight & V notch rear sight missing elevator. Full length mag. Dust cover is removed. Walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent steel buttplate. Left side of stock has carved initials "LM". 1889 Mfg. CONDITION: metal has crusty brown appearance w/ some surface rust.. Mag. tube has shallow dents. Wood has dark, heavily worn appearance w/ dents, scratches & marks. Stock has lg. cracks & chips on right side of wrist w/ nail type repair. Action shows wear. Hammer follows when lever is closed. Lever tang is too short for latch to catch. Dark, pitted bore retaining partially intact rifling. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of Jack Verret Sr. (01-20822/DS).
