Cal. 32 WCF. S# 332358. Bbl. 20" rnd. Full mag. Square base laid front sight & dovetail adj. ladder rear sight. Uncheckered forend. Left side of receiver has staple w/ ring. Uncheckered straight grip stock. Steel carbine buttplate w/out trapdoor. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Cody Firearms Museum letter providing the following information "Carbine / 32 caliber / Received in warehouse on March 3, 1890 / Shipped from warehouse on March 8, 1890, with 3 other Model 1873's, order number 9848". CONDITION: bbl. has original blue blending w/ brown patina & minor surface oxidation at muzzle. Forend has original finish w/ hand worn patina & handling marks. Receiver is a dark gray w/ wear on sharp edges & faint saddle ring mark. Buttstock has dark, original finish w/ hand worn patina in grip area. Minor handling marks & a faint grain crack running from top tang to middle of left side. Bore is dark w/ scattered pitting. (01-17883/BT). ANTIQUE. $3,000-4,000.
