Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). S# 104971A. First year of production for the 32-20 cartridge in this model. Bbl. 24" octagon. Beech's combination front sight, sporting rear sight, and period correct Winchester tang sight. Button mag. Blue finished bbl., with case colored action. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock, with crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. in 1882. CONDITION: bbl. retains 40% original blue, showing edge wear. Action has some remaining case colors on receiver sides and protected areas, with balance fading to gray, showing handling marks and small spots of very light pitting. Loading gate retains strong nitre blue finish. Lightly sanded and refinished wood shows scratches, marks, and dings. Mechanically fine. Bright bore with strong rifling. (01-27084/DS).
